California State Route 270 is OPEN

California State Route 270 (Bodie Road) is OPEN

The road consists of 10 miles of pavement and 3 miles of dirt. This is the best road into Bodie.

*Please note that it takes approximately 30-40 minutes to travel to Bodie from US 395 by way of SR 270 and approximately 30-45 minutes from SR 167 by way of Cottonwood Canyon Road. Trespassers entering the park outside of park hours are subject to citation.
