San Clemente State Beach Announces Concession Opportunity for Restaurant and Catering Services

SAN CLEMENTE — California State Parks announced today it is accepting proposals from businesses to provide restaurant and catering services to visitors in the lower Calafia area within San Clemente State Beach (SB).

Proposals will be accepted starting today, Feb. 23, through July 2, for a 20-year concession contract. Those interested can review State Parks’ Request for Proposal (RFP) available at parks.ca.gov/concessions. Proposals must be delivered in person or by mail no later than 2 p.m. on July 2, at the following address:

To support interested parties, State Parks will host an optional pre-proposal meeting on March 19 in San Clemente to provide additional details and answer questions. Details of the meeting are as follows:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
All proposers must submit a Letter of Intent to bid, as well as any questions related to the content of the RFP, to Jakob Crawford (contact details below) no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2026. Proposers who submit a proposal but fail to submit a Letter of Intent will be disqualified.
