About Washoe Meadows State Park

Washoe Meadows State Park consists of meadows and woodlands in the valley at the base of the escarpment leading to Echo Summit. The park was named for the Native Americans who inhabited the area for thousands of years. The park lands have not been developed. Dogs must be on leash in Ca State Parks. Our parks are highly impacted at this time - please lend a hand and help make them cleaner than you found them.

Seasons/Climate/Recommended clothing Summer temperatures range from about 75 degrees during the day to the low 40s at night, and winter temperatures average from a high of 40 to a low of 20 degrees.
