Crystal Cove 2025 Program Registration
"Returning Participants" are Junior Lifeguards who completed the 2025 Summer Junior Lifeguard Program.
"Returning Participants" qualify for Priority Registration and are not required to retake the tryout swim.
"Siblings of Returning Participants" qualify for Priority Registration and must complete a tryout swim. Failure to complete a tryout will result in registration(s) being voided, subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
"New Participants" are first time Junior Lifeguards and past participants, who did not complete the 2025 Summer JG Program.
All "New Participants" must complete a tryout swim test prior to registering for the junior lifeguard program.
All "New Participants" shall not register during priority registration.
Failure to complete a tryout and/or premature enrollment may result in registration(s) being voided, subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Tryouts are not required for the Spring Break Programs. Please review the following section on online registration and follow the registration links to enroll.

Online Registration - Reserve California
The portal for Crystal Cove Junior Lifeguard registration will be in Reserve California. To register a participant each household must create a profile and add dependents.
Login, Create New Account and Setting Up Your Dependents on Reserve California
Review these instructions to help you with the process:
Step 1: Login or create your NEW account by selecting the “LOGIN” or "CREATE ACCOUNT" button on the top menu.
Step 2: Once you are logged in, navigate to “YOUR ACCOUNT” on the top menu. A drop down will display. Select “YOUR DEPENDENTS”.
Step 3: A page titled “Persons” should appear. There will be a button that says, “Add Person”. Click on this button to launch the “Add New Person” page.
Step 4: On the “Add New Person” page. Populate the following fields with information about the dependent you are setting up:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Birthdate This is necessary for ReserveCalifornia.com to validate that your dependent meets the age requirements for enrollment
- Relationship- Use drop down to select “Child”
Step 5: Once you are done entering the above information, select “Add Dependent” and you will then be brought to the previous page and your new dependent should be listed. You can continue to add dependents to your account or proceed to enrolling your dependent(s) in a Junior Lifeguard program.
