In-Person Programs
Program Options:
Book an in-person field trip at Rancho del Oso State Park! During this experience, you and your students will get to explore and learn about one or more of the ecosystems at Rancho del Oso and learn about native and non-native plants, the effect of fire and climate change on our parks, and more! Program specifics differ depending on age group and teacher requests (grades K-2, 3-6, 7-12).
This program includes a one hour hike. The Hoover Loop is 0.8 miles with a steep incline followed by a gradual decline. Seasonally, a portion or all of the 0.5 mile Marsh Trail may be an option as a shorter flat trail or an addition to our Hoover Loop walk.
