Junior Rangers

Bolsa Chica State Beach offers a Junior Rangers program for some Mondays, Wednesdays Fridays in August from 3-4pm. Monday August 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th is themed around microplastics. The themes for Wednesdays are August 6th Turtles, August 13th Local Plants of Bolsa Chica, August 20th Seashells, August 27th Survivor! Friday August 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th are citizen science and microscopes. For kids ages 7-12. Meet at the picnic tables in the middle of the campground. A weblink at the bottom lists “www.parks.ca.gov/bolsachica” In the background of the flyer is a blue sky, blue ocean, and a wave crashing on the shore.

Junior Rangers will take place most Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3-4pm in August at the picnic tables in the middle of the campground at Bolsa Chica. Junior Rangers are geared toward kids ages 7-12 to explore their local state park. These events are free to attend.

Programs run from 3-4PM

WHERE: 
Bolsa Chica State Beach Campground Picnic Tables. Visitors may park north or south of the campground and walk in.
