Inspiration Park
Located in Fresno, this universally accessible park with a community center, splash and play areas, skate park, baseball/multi-purpose field, basketball courts, dog park, picnic areas, and garden was created with a $5,000,000 Statewide Park Program grant.

Albion Riverside Park
Located in Lincoln Heights Los Angeles, six acres of new park space with a multipurpose athletic field, amphitheater, walking & bike paths, fitness zone, children’s play area, picnic area, outdoor amphitheater, and open space created with a $5,000,000 Statewide Park Program grant.

Rancho Las Flores Park
Located in Coachella, a $4,968,275 Statewide Park Program grant created this 10 acre new park with soccer/football fields, performing arts amphitheater, exercise stations and pathways, basketball court, picnic area,and playground.

Boeddecker Park & Clubhouse
Located in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood, a $4,000,000 Statewide Park Program grant created a new 4,300 sq. ft. clubhouse, outdoor plazas, play areas, basketball court, stage/performing arts area adult fitness area, perimeter walking path, and open space.

Greenfield Community Park
Located in Greenfield, a $2,982,281 Statewide Park Program grant created this new 3 acre park with a perimeter walking/jogging trail, basketball court, tennis court, playground and splash park, gazebo, boulder garden, open space, and historical house reuse with restrooms.

Jacaranda Park
Located in South Los Angeles, a $4.99 million Statewide Park Program grant funded this new 5.35 acre linear park with multi-use open space areas, walking/jogging trails with par course fitness stations, basketball half-courts, children’s playgrounds, single and group picnic areas, family game table area, meadow area, and perimeter fencing.

Noyo Headlands Park
Located at Fort Bragg's 82 acre former Georgia Pacific Lumber Mill, a $4.8 million Statewide Park Program grant created this new coastal access park with a ten acre recreation field, four miles of multi-use trails, native habitat restoration, welcome plaza, restrooms and parking lot.

Salud Park
Located in Paramount, this new nine acre park multipurpose field, running track and walking loop, par course exercise stations, volleyball court, entrance plaza, lighting and parking lot were funded by a $4.58 million Statewide Park Program grant.

Ocotillo Park
Located in Cathedral City, a $4.99 million Statewide Park Program grant created this new five acre park with a multi-use sports field, baseball field, skatepark, two basketball courts, walking trail with fitness stations, two children's play areas, water splash area, picnic area with shade structures, courtyard, parking lot, restroom/concession building, and lighting.

Corning Community Park
Located in Corning, acquisition of 19 acres and development of new lighted soccer fields, a skate park, basketball court, playgrounds, performing arts amphitheater, picnic areas, walking trails, and restrooms were created through a $4.27 million Statewide Park Program grant.

The Office of Grants and Local Services (OGALS) develops and administers grant programs that provide funding for local, state, and nonprofit organization projects. Grant projects generally address park, recreation and resources related needs.

Since 1964, nearly 8,000 parks throughout California have been created or improved through OGALS' administered grant funding.
Since 2000, OGALS has administered more than $4.4 billion in grant funding throughout California.

The mission of the Office of Grants and Local Services is to address California’s diverse recreational, cultural and historical resource needs by developing grant programs, administering funds, offering technical assistance, building partnerships and providing leadership through quality customer service.
